Tanmay delivers keynote addresses across the globe and has conducted IBM Watson & Swift workshops for IBM’s Markham, Ontario Software Lab, the Halcyon London International School, and Apple’s UK Headquarters. Additionally, he is a strong supporter of “Everyone Can Code” and “STEM Education”.
At the impressive young age of 9, his app tTables, which helps students practice multiplication tables, was accepted into the iOS app store. At the age of 12, he presented one of his many algorithms, AskTanmay, the world's first web-based NLQA (Natural Language Question Answering) System to be powered by IBM Watson, at IBM InterConnect 2016.
Tanmay is host of an IBM Facebook Live series called “Watson Made Simple with Tanmay” and has over 23,000 followers of his YouTube channel Tanmay Teaches, which established him as the world’s youngest IBM Watson developer.
Tanmay is an active algorithmist partnered with Darwin Ecosystem. He has created algorithms, ranging from a recursive Tower of Hanoi algorithm, which helps to solve the Tower of Hanoi problem, to AskTanmay, one of his most recent creations, which is the world’s first webbased NLQA System to be powered by IBM Watson.
Tanmay lives with his parents and sister outside of Toronto, in Brampton, Canada.
